Last weekend my mom and I were at the Sundance Horse Trials in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It’s a quick drive from where we live in Lake Geneva. We made many, many new friends at this show and my Mama was mucho ocupado … very, very busy. We helped so many horse friends from Fieldstone Farm: Ninja, Cody Rex and Dudley. There was Peet from #TeamVEventing, Rain and Charming Day from Green Bay, and also Sebastian from Door County (a very nice place to visit in the fall by the way … lots of cute little girl dogs).
I am very poquito, a tiny dog … I know but I DO NOT THINK small. My new girlfriend Aiden McCann is also small and only 13-years-old but, like Tobey McGuire says about Seabiscuit in the movie, “though we be small, yet we are fierce!” Aiden and her beautiful Peekaboo Street (I call him “Peeks”) had a Double Clear on the XC in the open training level at the show. I barked and jumped until I fell over I was so excited! (Look for her video below). I sat in the saddle in front of her and filmed. Well, maybe not quite, but I love the movie!
Yes, I know what you are thinking … things look a lot different from seven or eight inches off the ground. It’s true! But I know what I like and Aiden and all the ladies like me too. They pick me up and kiss me and tell me ALL the time what a “Cutie Boy” I am! And I believe them!!
Next week Mom and I are headed west. I have my cowboy hat ready to go! We are off to Jody Strand’s in Iowa and then on to Diane Underwood’s by Longmont, Colorado. Look for me! Look down! I will see you there muchachos.
